Marion Grodin
Marion Grodin is one of the funniest working stand-up comedians today. She is a regular at top New York City clubs including Caroline's and Gotham where she hosts her own show. Marion has been seen on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien and ABC's “The View”. She has toured with Linda Ronstadt and Lewis Black.
Marion knows firsthand that laughter is the best medicine having survived cancer, divorce and various addictions – including an inappropriate relationship to Haagen Dazs.
After over a decade as one of the country's top emcees, Marion has perfected the art of talking with the audience. This has led to her specialty of taking specific information about the audience prior to the show so that it feels as if the event were custom made just for you.
Marion has performed for 1000+ seat rooms and for A+ private events, including Gilda's Club and Ethel Kennedy's annual fundraisers. Marion has also hosted Gotham Comedy Club's “A Very Jewish Christmas”.
Curt Carlson
Your host and MC, Curt has performed at Carolines on Broadway, Rascals, stand up New York and comedy clubs nationwide. As an actor Curt appears regularly on Law and Order SVU and as an NYPD officer on the original Law and Order. Recent movies include Baby Mama, The Departed, World Trade Center and an independent film called Jersey Justice to be released in the spring of 07. Curt has hosted the comcast comedy spotlight and has been a comentator on ESPN's Musclesport USA. Looking toward the future Curt will be co-starring in an independent film by a brilliant up and coming film maker Jay McCarey called Asbury Forever. Comedy is in his blood or as he puts it being a comedian is a good excuse for never growing up.
